ClAXTON elementary
Friday, April 8: Paul and
Freckles spoke in the morning to
about 225 K-2 students. In the afternoon, they spoke to
the 60 third graders and did an extended presentation that
focused more on writing and book publishing. Here are a
few of the great third graders at Claxton Elementary in
Asheville NC:

Saturday, April 16: Paul and
Freckles signed books for
customers at Pet Supplies Plus in Asheville NC.

Thursday, April 21: Freckles
(she took Paul along this time) made
her last visit of the school year as part of the program to help kids
with their reading skills. Three very special first
graders read to
her and showed off how much they had learned throughout the
school year. They all did a terrific job!
vance elementary
Friday, April 29: Paul and
Freckles met with three groups of great
kids (K-3) at Vance Elementary School in Asheville. These students
had some of the best questions we've ever heard! Many thanks to
Helga Graff and the other great teachers!!
spellbound bookstore
Saturday, April 30: Paul and
Freckles made a lot of new friends at a
very successful book signing at this absolutely delightful children's
bookstore
on
Haywood Street in west Asheville NC.
