of the "Paws, Claws, Scales and
Tales" summer program.

great group of about 40-50 kids and big kids (adults)
heard Freckles' story.

Paul hosted the first of several
Young Writers Workshops with kids 7-11 years of age.
This one was held in the main library in downtown
Asheville NC.
North Asheville public library

Paul (with Freckles' help this time!)
hosted another Young Writers Workshop for kids 7-11.
West Asheville public library
Tuesday, July 25:
Paul and Freckles spoke to an
excited bunch of youngsters and their parents at the
West Asheville Public Library.

and Freckles hosted the last of the
Young Writers Workshops. What a great time we had!

Thursday, July 27: Paul
and Freckles met with some super
kids at this Mission Hospital facility. We'd even met one of
the little girls earlier when she was in the hospital. It was
great to see her walking Freckles around the room!
