Friday, October 29:
Paul and
Freckles met with six
groups of 3rd and 4th grade students at a "Career
Day"
at West Buncombe Elementary School in Asheville, NC.
The kids dressed up in costumes representing their
career choices. What great questions they had about
writing and about books and publishing. Thank you to
Wendy at Capital Bank and to Becky Terry for the
invitation!

Saturday, December 4: Paul
and Freckles made lots of
new friends at their first book signing in Asheville NC. Here
is one of Freckles' newest friends who stopped by to chat.
It was a terrific and very successful day!
DANCIng bear toy stores book signings
Friday & Saturday, December 10-11:
Paul and Freckles met the holiday
shoppers at these unique and wonderful toy stores -- one in
Hendersonville NC and the other in Asheville NC. We also bought a
lot
of toys!
leicester elementary
Monday, December 13: Paul and
Freckles spoke to approximately 300
K-5 students at this school in the mountains of western North Carolina.
We were scheduled to speak to the other 300 students on Tuesday, but
we had a SNOW DAY! We're from the desert of Arizona, so it's been
a
looooong time since Paul has had a snow day! We're scheduled now
for Friday, December 17.
Friday, December 17: We got a
chance to speak to the other 300
students of Leicester
Elementary School today. What a great bunch of
young boys and girls!

Saturday, December 18: During
our book signing here, we had
the
wonderful opportunity of meeting
the customers of this unique store in
Asheville NC. An amazing
collection
of artwork and collectibles in
one store adjoining another that
specializes
in books.
