Buncombe elementary
Friday, December 9: Freckles and Paul
gave three presentations
today to all 1,000
K-5 students at West Buncombe Elementary in
Leicester NC. Media specialist Donna Reble then held a contest
in which students would guess the number of dog biscuits were in
a large jar! Paul and Freckles will be returning to give autographed,
pawtographed copies of Freckles' book to the winners! Here are some
photographs of Freckles' newest friends!!

Unfortunately, an ice storm caused the
cancellation of school today. So Freckles
wasn't able to see her
special first grade friends
at Hall Fletcher Elementary in Asheville
NC. On the third Thursday of each month throughout the school year,
she goes there to help them improve their reading skills.

Saturday,
December 17: Freckles
visited her very special friends at Mission
Hospital in Asheville NC. She had a terrific time with Bailey
and Colton and
the other kids she met there!
